Dethrone returned to the stage at Tullikamari Pakkahuone August 19th, 2023. Juha Sihtonen was there to film it all. The movie features the whole gig with speeches and breaks between songs. The sound was recorded by Ari Karppinen and post-production and mixing was done by none other than Kalle Terästö. Filmed, directed and edited by MadCam Productions / Juha Sihtola. The Speed Metal Party is a legendary event that was organized by local bands and Tommi Vesikko. It started 1988 and returned 2018. The 2018 event featured also return of Dethrone after 30 years absence from music. The set features five songs from bands Let the Day Begin -album and three new songs. Dethrone: City of Silence – Speed Metal Party 16.11.1988 This is very probably the first live performance of the rarely played song. Niko mentions that this song is about Jouni. That is not exactly true although the song was inspired by nightmares Jouni had.
